Hils Barker is a stand-up comic who has also been seen as an actress in BBC 3's recent comedy The Message, as a writer-performer in BBC 4's topical shows The Late Edition and The Comic Side of Seven Days and as an impressionist in Channel 4's Ten Years of Blair. She co-wrote and performed two series of her own sketch show Radio 9 ("In the great English tradition of nonsensical humour, laced with a dash of social satire" Financial Times) for Radio 4 and took her debut solo show, In the Wrong Place ("hilarious ****" Metro) to Edinburgh in 2006. |
